Think About

Let’s start with the premise that everything is connected energetically. We are One with all that is. The stars, planets, our own Gaia and us, we are all made up of the same energetic elements and components, atoms and molecules. Look up at the night sky. You are looking at something that is approximately 13.8 billion years old. Our own galaxy, the Milky Way contains about 100 million stars, and there are millions and millions of other galaxies out there. It is estimated that there are 2-3 trillion planets in the universe. All connected to each other, all made up of the same elements.

Gaia is about 4.5 billion years old. The first evidence of life on Gaia is suggested to have started 4 billion years ago. Depending on the accepted definition of people, we have been here on Gaia for 100,000 years. We have been gazing at, watching, tracking and interacting with the sun, moon, stars and planets from the very beginning, compiling and collecting the data, musing upon and trying to understand everything as best we can. Virtually every ancient civilization has records of the movements of the sun, stars, moon and all things celestial, the search for meaning in the sky. This awareness and interaction with the celestial objects and observed connections to terrestrial events is the basis of ancient astrology and the origin of modern astrology.

Modern astrology is the art of connecting celestial movements to terrestrial events by observing, tracking and recording them through extensive and detailed charts, in the hopes of gaining awareness and insights. This exhaustive body of knowledge is studied in the hopes of making predictive future decisions with favorable outcomes. An added benefit is gaining insights into why certain things have happened as well. Understanding the past is critical to predicting the future.

Just as astrologers can make charts for themselves and others, seeing Gaia as a living, breathing conscious sentient entity, we can make a chart for her, and use it for enhancing a Gaianic healing session. Where to send the healing energy? What time of day, week, month or year? Combined with our intuition, the possibilities are endless.

Try This

If you are a practicing astrologer consider creating a chart for Gaia. Use your intuition to fill in the pertinent information, year, date of birth, time, etc. Once you have a chart, use it in a Gaianic healing session as your intuition suggests. All healing energy sent to Gaia will be received with gratitude. If you are a newcomer to astrology, study the history of astrology and learn about your own chart as a starting point. Use this knowledge and your star signs, attributes and information as part of your healing tools in a Gaianic healing session. Pay attention to any significant dates in your chart to enhance your personal powers. It is always about intention.

Activities

Pay attention to upcoming celestial events such as the summer and winter solstice, meteor showers, solar and lunar eclipses and alignment of the planets in the night sky for better viewing. Do any of these call out to you as a date for doing a Gaianic healing session?

The constellations offer interesting energetic connections for us to consider between ourselves and Gaia. As these become available for clear viewing in the night sky pay attention to your intuition and see how they might be folded into a Gaianic healing session. The origin stories behind the constellations are fascinating. Which ones call out to you?

Pay attention to the lunar cycles, in particular the new moon where you set intentions, ideal for Gaianic healing and the full moon where you can absorb power.

Viewing the stars and planets through a telescope is a wondrous thing to do. If you have an opportunity to do this, enjoy the experience.

Visit a planetarium and take in as many of the exhibits, shows and movies as possible. The origin stories of our solar system, galaxies and universe helps put everything in perspective and will greatly enhance your Gaianic healing sessions.
